Weather’s quite chilly now and the largest bouzoukia venues are at the Sfagia district at the western part of the city. There is no superstar around these days (expect them at around Easter), but nevertheless there’s much fun to be had at the bouzoukia, especially around Carnival at mid-February.

Summer’s here and most bouzoukia have moved to their summer venues, close to the airport, next to the casino – where you will probably need a taxi to go. As the summer progresses and more and more people will be leaving on long weekends in Halkidiki, you will find bouzoukia nights in clubs there as well, especially in Kallithea.
Drinks are at the bar, bottles of spirits are at a table divided by 4 people and if you choose to have wine it’s exactly half the price divided by 2 people (hence the price per head is the same).
